What to do in Milan in 3 days

We were in Milan for 3 days last October in 2017. Here are some things that I would suggest you to do while you are in this beautiful city.

1. Visit the Duomo. You can buy a Duomo pass for 12 euros and you can see the rooftops (on foot or if you want to stay in line at the lift you can pay 16 euros), the museum, the inside of the Duomo and the archeological area. The views from the rooftops are amazing. Plus you get to see all the insane details and all the sculptures.

2. Eat at Il Politico. This is a place where they serve sandwiches. It's right next to Castello Sforzesco. You will definitely find lots of italians waiting in line. We sure did. If this is not a good sign that the food is delicious then nothing is. Their prices range from 4 to 7-8 euros per sandwhich and they have an amazing variety of them. Even the choosey ones will find something good to eat. Unfortunately I don't remember the name of the sandwich but it had cooked onions, sausage and spicy sauce. Delicious, I'm telling you.

3. Find a place and just sit in the piazza in front of the Duomo and relax. Take your time and just enjoy the views. I like to just take a few moments and take it all in everywhere I go.

4. Visit the famous Last Supper of Leonardo da Vinci (Cenacolo in italian). I would suggest you to buy your tickets online ahead of time. It's better to not have to wait in line in order to purchase them. You will have only 15 minutes to see this masterpiece. Every 15 minutes a group of maximum 30 people enters the room. You are allowed to take pictures but without flash.

5. Do some window shopping on Galleria Vittorio Emanuele. I say window shopping because we do not afford a 3000 euros Prada bag =). Since we are also here you could also spin 3 x times on the bull that is inside the galleria. For good luck they say.

6. Walk on the streets and enjoy all of the beautiful buildings and architecture. I mean just look at them.

You can also visit Castello Sforzesco but I don't like squeezing in too many things to do/see in a day. We saw Castello Sforzesco but only from the outside.

If you've ever been to Milan let me know what were your favorite things about this city.
