Hidden gems of the Ionian Islands

I think that these are the places with the most insane waters. Paxos and Antipaxos are 2 small islands near Corfu. We saw them this year thanks to an optional trip by boat from Corfu. We didn't stayed over night but I wish we did. Antipaxos has the clearest water I've seen. You can choose to be accommodated on the actual islands. I think that you can combine them and stay 4 nights in Paxos and let's say 4 more in Antipaxos. You will not get tired of seeing those pretty waters.

I don't think that words can describe these amazing places. I would suggest you to rent a boat and see for yourself the caves that are on the coast of Paxos and Antipaxos. Even though I said in the title hidden gems, they are really popular so during high season they will be overcrowded. We were in May and it was perfect. They said that there are even celebrities that come and stay with their yachts there. Making them even more crowded.

In Paxos we had a small break on the actual island of almost 2 hours. We walked as much as we could and let me tell you that it is a nice small village. Flowers everywhere, tavernas everywhere and so many boats in the port. We ate at Genesis restaurant and the food was good. It's a nice small restaurant with views of the sea. But most of the tavernas there are right next to the sea with beautiful views.

Now I am going to leave you with some shots of the beauty of these islands. Did you know that Antipaxos is named this way because of the location? And that is because it's located opposite from Paxos.
