Best pesto in Cinque Terre

Food is a very important aspect while travelling. And this is why I want you to not miss this place in Cinque Terre, exactly in the first village (or last, depends from where you start) in Monterosso Al Mare. I remember we arrived in Monterosso around 12 PM or around that time and I was starving. And right on the platform there was a small place similar to a fast food. And right there was a big line waiting for food. But this is not the place which I wanna talk about. I just mentioned it in order for you to not make a confusion and eat somewhere else because I was very tempted to eat there. I'm not saying they didn't had good food because I have no idea but I wanted to eat something italian. You can eat there, if you want, but if you wanna taste the most delicious pesto, I'd recommend you to go here - Il Massimo della Focaccia. The thing with Monterosso is that you have to go down a few stairs from the platform in order to reach the sea and promenade. And Il Massimo is just a few steps away on the left from those stairs. Unfortunately, I do not have a photo with the place but there are plenty online if you search for it. I'm just guiding you to it =)

I remember we entered this place out of curiosity and because I wanted something fast to eat. But I also wanted something from the italian cuisine. So I chose focaccia with pesto. I believe it was around 3 or 4 euros, I don't remember exactly. But all I can say is that it was DELICIOUS. They also had other types of focaccia but everyone agreed that this was the most delicious one. And we sat on a bench, eating focaccia while enjoying the view and taking in the sound of the sea next to us. It was a lovely moment and I hope you'll experience the same joy like I did.
