Corfu is one of the many islands in Greece which has plenty to offer. If you are curious to know what are some of the must see places there just keep reading. 1. Paleokastritsa - I say this because here you will find those turquoise waters, stunning landscapes and taverna Spiros which serves delicious food. Even though Milan is known as the city of fashion, there are a few free things you can enjoy in this lovely city. 1. Relax in piazza in front of the Dome. This is a fairly large place and it is perfect to just take in the beauty of the cathedral. Be amazed at how intricate this cathedral is. Plus at night it is quite nice to see it slowly getting less and less crowded as the hours go by. 2. Chill at Castello Sforzesco in Sempione park. It is the perfect place to either enjoy a lovely walk in the park or simply recharge your batteries for more walking. 3. Do some window shopping at Galleria Vittorio Emanuele. Unless you can pay hundreds and thousands of euros for a bag or coat, window shopping will do the work. Here you'll find famous stores as Prada, Versace, Armani and many more. Also the architecture here is amazing. While you're here you can also spin 3 times on the bull mosaic on the floor (close to the center of the gallery) for good luck.

Venice has a few options when it comes to transportation there on the island so here are a few options to get around in the city on water.  1. Water bus - The most common way to get around in Venice is with a water bus. They will usually be the cheapest option. If you buy a Venice city pass you can choose the option to have transport included. I find this to be quite helpful since you don't have to wait in line all the time to buy a ticket. Venice is quite a busy city so you will find that pass will come in handy. They have schedules at each station and the signs are pretty straight forward. Their water buses are called vaporetto. Also if you want a trip on the Grand Canal you can choose these water buses as they're the cheapest option. Keep in mind though that they take much longer than a taxi since they stop at each station.  2. Taxi - Their taxis are these brown cool looking tiny boats. It's like your private tiny yacht. Rome has plenty of options to choose from when it comes to accommodation. So here is a list with a few hotels that I recommend and the area where you can stay. We stayed at hotel Parker which is a 3 star hotel close to Termini station. Room was clean with a comfortable bed and for breakfast they offered plenty of options. Other good hotels are Espana, Kent, Alexis, Camelia and Pyramid. I recommend you to stay around Termini station but keep in mind one thing about this place -  it is noisy. Although we weren't bothered at all about this aspect, take this into consideration if you are a light sleeper.  Around Termini there are plenty hotels from which you can choose and usually the prices are between 40 and 60 euros per double room for 1 night. With breakfast included most of the times which is not bad at all. Sometimes trying to find the safest and easiest way to get from the airport to your hotel can be hard. You have cabs, certain buses etc. Here is the cheapest and easiest way to reach Termini station in Rome from the airport. I wrote Ciampino airport because Rome actually has 2 airports - Ciampino and Fiuminico. But when we visited Rome, we landed on Ciampino airport.  After you take your luggage and you go through customs, at the exit you will find a few options to reach the city. All of them will offer transfer airport-Termini-airport for a small fee, usually between 8 and 10 euros per person for a return ticket. I recommend you to buy a return ticket since they will usually have a smaller price if you do it this way (around 2 or 3 euros cheaper per person).  We went with Schiaffini buses but Terravision is also another option. I am the type of person that probably likes every place in this world. When I'll find a place I don't like I am going to let you know. Hopefully that will be never. When to visit Venice? We were in Venice mid October for 4 days. And it was CROWDED. I didn't expected it to be that crowded. It didn't bother me or something it's just that Venice is one of those cities that is forever crowded. So taking into consideration that even in October it was crowded I would definitely avoid the summer months. It's too hot, too crowded for me. So I would suggest you to visit Venice in late fall and spring. The weather is perfect and you have room to walk. You might see some rain but who cares? Get yourself an umbrella and just go visit. I hope this post will help you save money. Venice can be expensive. Museums and tourists attractions are around 20 euros per person each. So my advice to you is - VeneziaUnica city pass. You can buy it online and it will save you at least 50 to even 100 euros depending on how many attractions you plan to visit. We bought the one that is valid for 72 hours and it was life savior. Why you should buy this city pass: 1. You can use it for transportation too. We stayed in Mestre and we used it to take the bus from Mestre to the island and for the public water buses there in Venice. The bus ticket is around 1,5 euro per person for 75 minutes but considering that we had to go back and forth from Mestre to the island for 4 days 2 times a day it was amazing to have this pass. 2. You can skip the line on some attractions. We skipped the line at Doge's Palace (Palazzo Ducale) and boy there were 20 to 25 people waiting in line. I left my heart in Venice! 💓 Venice is one of the beauties of Italy. From gondolas, to delicious pasta and amazing sunsets, Venice is perfection. The first thing that comes in mind when I think of Venice is PASTA.  1. I urge you to go and eat a serving of pasta with pesto at Dal Moro's Fresh Pasta to Go. I definitely ate the most delicious pasta with pesto ever. One box of pasta is only 7 euros! 100% homemade italian pasta. They did not pay me to tell you about them. Go and watch the sunset from Rialto Bridge. Even though it was really crowed in October when we went to Venice, the view is spectacular.
